About EDC Awards 2023
The EDC@20 Entrepreneurship Awards has been specially created as part of the 20th anniversary activities to celebrate outstanding individual entrepreneurs and groups who have made significant contributions to the mission of EDC as well as the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the SME sector in Nigeria.
This awards-giving is also designed to recognize and reward individuals who have brought innovation into their sector or demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and achievements.
Objective
The key objective of the EDC@20 entrepreneurship awards is to inspire and celebrate high achievers in entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and promote the entrepreneurial spirit.

General Eligibility Criteria
Must be entrepreneurs who have founded or co-founded a business.
The business should have been in operation for a minimum of 5 years.
Candidates can be nominated from any industry or sector.
Nominations are to be made by second or third parties.
